The painting portrays the mayor of a Czech partner municipality with her two grandchildren and was a gift on the occasion of a visit by representatives of the municipality. The figures are painted from real life, while the imagined background enhances the atmosphere of the painting. More than just a portrait, however, the painting expresses the closeness between a grandmother and her grandchildren. Their natural bond and smiles capture a simple family moment that, through the painting, can become a lasting memory.
