The iconic Belianske Tatras captured in a peaceful winter atmosphere. I have strong personal ties to this region and love returning to its hills, forests, trails and meadows. This scene came to me during one cold but beautiful winter late morning. I captured the landscape as I saw it, with only small adjustments to the composition of the trees in the foreground. Wandering through this region gives me a special sense of freedom and peace, and perhaps that is why I keep coming back here again and again.
