The painting portrays Taryn Harbridge, an American Christian violinist and music arranger. Taryn is painted from real life, while the overall composition of the painting is imagined. Through her music, her desire is to glorify God and to bring His truth and encouragement to others. Her faith and music are closely connected, and it is this connection that gives her work a distinctive spiritual dimension. I enjoy listening to her music, and the connection between her musical expression and faith inspired me to paint this portrait.
