I associate this painting with personal memories of a hike through the beautiful Monková Valley in Ždiar one summer day. The landscape caught my attention with its open space and the play of light and shadow created by the passing clouds. The mountain atmosphere enhanced the moment even further. I preserved the faithful appearance of the landscape and made only minimal changes to the composition. I highlighted only the intensity of sunlight and the contrast between light and shadow, which had left the strongest impression on me.
