The painting captures a place associated with the personal memories of a married couple and their walks together. It was created with the aim of preserving the actual appearance of the place, so I made only minimal changes to the composition. What interested me most was the morning atmosphere of the forest and the light filtering through the trees. I tried to capture not only the appearance of the landscape, but also the sense of peace and atmosphere associated with the place and their shared experiences.
