The idea for this painting came to me during a morning walk through the Tatra countryside. I was drawn to the morning silence and the gentle rays of sunlight touching the autumn landscape. I added the path to the composition as an invitation to enter the landscape and experience the peace that I felt in this place. The painting captures only a part of the wide panorama of the Tatra Mountains in autumn. Perhaps one day I will paint it in its full width.
