The painting was inspired by a beautiful walk in Monkova Valley in Slovakia’s Belianske Tatras on a sunny summer day. As I walked along the path, the peaks of Ždiarska Vidla and Havran suddenly emerged from behind the trees. Sunlight filtering through the trees illuminates the summer greenery and alternates with the cooler shadows of the forest. The winding path leading towards the mountains enhances the feeling of entering deeper into the surrounding nature and discovering its beauty step by step.
